Operations Update: Ridge Runner 13-17 Well Workover Operations at Clear Creek Project
Marion Energy Limited (ASX: MAE, MAEO, MAEOA) advises that workover operations on the Ridge Runner 13-17 well at its Clear Creek project are scheduled to commence in the next 48 hours.
This well was completed by Marion as part of its Clear Creek development program and is currently shut in. The well is connected to the gathering system and pipeline. The well has the potential to be a significant producer as it underwent extensive testing during well completion and production test rates of over 1.5 million cubic feet per day were observed.
The road into the well site and the well site itself have been cleared of snow and operations will now commence. Initial operations will involve the removal of the bridge plug from the well and installation of a submersible pump into the well bore. It is anticipated that pumping operations will need to draw down the fluid level in the well bore to about 200 feet above the pump before optimum producing conditions can be achieved.
Gas flow is expected to commence and increase as the water level is drawn down in the well bore and the back pressure on the reservoir is lowered.
The Company has a 100% working interest in the Clear Creek project.
