IPB Petroleum is pleased to advise that the WA-424-P Joint Venture (IPB 75%, CalEnergy 25% and Operator) has received acceptance from the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) for the Pryderi-1 Environmental Plan (EP) re-submitted on November 28th 2013.
As a result the Joint Venture can now confidently move forward with the necessary activities relating to the planned drilling of the Pryderi-1 well including:
- Rig selection and negotiation activities;
- The finalization and ordering of long lead items including such items as wellheads etc;
- Geophysical site survey and related activities.
