Base Resources (ASX & AIM: BSE) is an Australian based, African focused, mineral sands producer and developer with a track record of project delivery and operational performance. The Company operates the established Kwale Operations in Kenya and is developing the Toliara Sands Project in Madagascar.
The Kwale Operation continues to perform, producing over 590 thousand tonnes of ilmenite, rutile and zircon in the 2018 financial year with zero medical treatments in the last 12 months. An exploration program in pursuit of mine life extension is well underway.
The world-class Toliara Sands Project is a development asset that is progressing to plan, with construction anticipated from late 2019 and first production in late 2021.
Together, these quality assets provide a solid platform for the Base Resources team to grow a contemporary mid-tier resources company.
