Aurora Oil & Gas Ltd ("Aurora") is pleased to provide an update with regard to the forward drilling schedule on its acreage within the Sugarkane Field in the Texas Eagle Ford shale. This update follows recent discussions with Marathon Oil who, following their US$3.5 billion acquisition of Hilcorp Energy's Eagle Ford Acreage position, will become Aurora's partner and Operator of the Sugarkane Field on 1 November 2011.
