Trenching Confirms High Grade Gold Veins at Baku Hill and Extends Gold Stockwork Zone

Arc Exploration Limited (ASX Code: ARX) is pleased to report further highly encouraging gold results from an ongoing programme of trenching at its Baku Hill Prospect.

High grade gold results
The best result of 12m at 24.8 g/t gold that includes 3m at 64 g/t gold extends a previous trench result of 4m at 34.3 g/t gold. Samples were taken at a low angle across a steeply dipping 3-4 metre wide quartz-sulphide vein.
A further result of 12m at 4.35 g/t gold was returned on sampling at a low angle across another parallel steeply dipping 3 metre wide quartz-sulphide vein.
Gold stockwork extension
A result of 21m at 0.44 g/t gold from the eastern side of the Baku Hill extends the gold mineralised stockwork 50 metres further to the east from a previously reported result of 22m at 2.15 g/t gold.
Results so far at Baku Hill indicate high grade veins within a coherent gold-mineralised stockwork zone that is at least 300m long and approximately 100m wide and centred on a quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusion. The gold mineralised stockwork remains open to the east.

"These new gold results are very exciting. They confirm the presence of discrete high grade 3-4 metre wide gold bearing veins within an extensive gold bearing quartz stockwork zone. They have also extended the mineralised stockwork by around 50 metres. The zone is at least 300m long and is open to the east so there is further potential in that direction.
The occurrence of high grade veins within more extensive lower grade stockwork certainly enhances our confidence in the bulk tonnage gold potential of the area.
We continue to expand our trenching programmes at Baku along with magnetic and IP geophysical surveys in preparation for scout drilling. Trenching is also underway at other prospects and we have started regional work to identify more targets in this highly prospective region.
These excellent results from Baku Hill continue to build on the strong results we have recently announced within the Bima project area."
