SubZero Group Ltd, Occupancy Approval for New Facilities in Muswellbrook Gained

SubZero Group Limited (SZG) is in the final stages of completing its new 10,000 sqm purpose built mining equipment and machinery maintenance and refurbishment facility in Muswellbrook.

The facilities were due to be completed in November 2012 however have fallen behind schedule due to various unforeseen design amendments and approvals over the past 18 months of construction.

On Friday 19 April, Muswellbrook Shire Council permitted SubZero interim occupancy of the facility which also allows SubZero up to 12 months to complete the final fit out of the facilities.

SZG’s Managing Director, Scott Farrell said, “SubZero has worked closely with Muswellbrook Shire Council and together have achieved a solid outcome for the local mining industry and its growing infrastructure requirements.”

The new facility has a hectare of undercover workshop space and 150 tonne total crane capacity, providing a climate controlled workshop space for machinery rebuilds and refurbishments.

Occupancy approval brings SubZero’s new facilities into operation providing the opportunity for SubZero’s clients and shareholders to capitalise on the investment in the immediate future.
