Black Range: Uranium Conference Presentation

Company Presentations

Australian Uranium Conference Fremantle Western Australia  – 18 July 2012

Black Range Minerals Limited (ASX:BLR) Managing Director Tony Simpson presents at the Australian Uranium Conference in Fremantle in Western Australia

Black Range Minerals Limited’s (ASX:BLR) key asset is the Hansen/Taylor deposit in Colorado. We have a 90 million pound resource at a healthy grade of 600 ppm and are in the process of permitting for production, starting 2016.  We also have a joint venture for the commercialisation of the ablation process for uranium deposits, which could result in early cash flows for our project.

We have 841 million shares on issue, share price is two cents and our market cap is $16/$17 million.  Head office and all our experienced management are based in Colorado. There is much good will towards self-sufficiency in energy in the US, 20 per cent of their energy is nuclear powered and they have more nuclear power plants than any other country in the world.

We’re focused in the Tallahassee Creek uranium district, an area with enormous potential and we are the third largest deposit in the US.  The Hansen/Taylor ore body is uniquely sandstone hosted, not in a riverbed and the deposit lends itself very well to underground borehole mining, which gives the lowest environmental impact.
