(ASX:PRW) is an Australian listed developer predominantly investing in nickel, but also exploring for gold/copper, nickel/copper and platinum group elements at our projects in the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Our flagship project, Barnes Hill, is in Tasmania next to the Beaconsfield goldmine near Launceston and has valuable nickel content. Despite our enthusiasm for gold/copper exploration, we’re focused on the nickel industry to get our first earnings for the Company and shareholders. We’re capped at approximately $10 million with 540 million shares on issue and trading at about 1.8 cents right now.
We are concentrating on nickel laterite because there is an opportunity for us to become globally significant. Nickel is a specialty and highly useful metal. It’s heavy, non-corrosive, heat resistant and very strong properties allow it to be used in jet engines, petrol tankers, CDs, DVDs, coins, batteries, stainless steel and a multitude of other uses. We have joint venture partners to help with the game changing technology of extracting the nickel/cobalt from nickel laterite ore bodies.
