(ASX:CPU) says management earnings per share for the first half will be 20% higher than they were in both the first and second halves of the 2009 financial year.
However the company warned that whilst the results of the first half are encouraging, a number of significant transactions took place over the period which may not repeat in the second half.
Computershare says it will provide an update on its expectations for management earnings per share for the full year when it releases its first half results.
The company is to release its first half results on February 10.
Computershare posted a profit of $315.18 million for the 2009 financial year.
