Djerriwarrh Investments Ltd (ASX:DJW) reported profit for the half-year to December 2009 of $15.1 million, a 49% drop compared to the same period last year.

The result due in part to realized capital losses on the company’s investment portfolio until its adoption of new accounting standards on the 7th December.

Revenue from operating activities fell 44% to $16.3 million.

The company declared an interim dividend of 10 cents unchanged from the previous interim period.

Djerriwarrh Investments reported a loss of around $14 million for the 2009 financial year.
