(ASX:CEU), owner and operator of EastLink toll road, released its traffic and revenue results for the month of December today.
The average daily revenue on the EastLink toll road came to $548, 746 in December, 21.5% higher than in December 2008.
Average daily trips were also higher than in December 2008, totalling 168, 007 and average workday trips 17.1% higher at 187, 438.
The company says traffic on the toll road for December was however lower than the month before due to the Christmas and Victorian school holiday period.
A milestone was reached when ConnectEast customer accounts exceeded 200,000, with the total of active tags exceeding 320, 000.
ConnectEast Group posted a loss of $531.58 million in fiscal 09.
