Australian retail food brand manager Retail Food Group Ltd
(ASX:RFG) says it is to re-acquire the Brumby’s Bakeries master franchise territories for Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
On November 27th the company announced that it had acquired the North Queensland and New Zealand master franchise territories, bringing to four the number of Brumby’s territories to be re-acquired this financial year.
CEO Tony Alford says the combined Brumby’s Western Australia and Northern Territory master franchise territories achieve the highest average weekly sales in Australia.
Mr Alford says the transaction will deliver the company the equivalent in terms of earnings before interest and tax contribution of an additional 32 new Brumby’s Bakeries outlets.
Retail Food Group earned profit of $23.52 million in financial year 2009.
