Regal Resources Ltd
(ASX:RER) who holds the world-wide exclusive license for the patent pending Underground Coal to Liquids and the W10 alkaline metal catalyst technologies says its new W10 technology is to undergo Australian laboratory analysis.
The technology is to be tested for coal liquefaction and hydrocarbon properties.
The company says it is in the process of commissioning laboratory/analytical testing group Amdel to undertake a series of laboratory based testing and analysis of the liquefaction and upgrading properties of W10.
Regal hopes to use this information together with data collected from tests conducted at its Oak Park testing facility in Victoria to assess the commercial viability of W10 as an agent for hydrocarbon liquefaction and or upgrading.
Regal Resources reported a loss for the year ended June 30, 2009.
