Pizza chain Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd
(ASX:DMP) has signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase Pizza Company, a pizza chain which operates 15 stores in Belgium.
Domino’s says the transaction will double the size of the company’s network in the European country, making it the number one pizza delivery company in Belgium in terms of store count.
CEO Don Meij says the 15 pizza stores will be rebranded to Domino’s Pizza from March 2010.
Mr Meij says the purchase will have no material impact on the company’s earnings for fiscal 2010.
Domino’s Pizza Enterprises posted a profit for the 2009 financial year.
