Australian brewer Foster’s Group Ltd
(ASX:FGL) says Alex Stevens, the Managing Director of the company’s CUB business unit, has resigned due to ill health.
CEO Ian Johnston says that while the company is very sorry about this unexpected development, Foster’s respects and support Mr Stevens decision and wish’s him well for the future.
Mr Johnston says a lot has been achieved in Mr Stevens time at Foster’s including the separation of the beer, cider and spirits sales team from wine and a new name change for the business unit.
Until further notice Ian Johnston will act as the Managing Director of the CUB business.
Foster’s Group’s 2009 financial year result came in at $438.3 million.
