Zinc and silver producer CBH Resources Ltd
(ASX:CBH) has successfully re-commissioned its Paste Plant at its Endeavor Mine near Cobar in western NSW.
The company says the Paste Plant was restarted on December 4 and has since completed two campaign runs, which it says have been successful with operations fully meeting expectations.
CBH Resources says the Paste Plant was decommissioned in November 2008 when mine production was curtailed in response to the global economic downturn.
The miner says the successful operation of the Paste Plant is critical to achieving the company’s plans to increase annual production at Endeavor from 420,000 tonnes to 850,000 tonnes.
The company says all other planning activities associated with the ramp up to higher production at Endeavor are proceeding satisfactorily and the company remains on track to increase mine production in mid 2010.
CBH Resources posted a loss of $96.63 million in fiscal 2009.
