Westpac Banking Corporation
(ASX:WBC) CEO Gail Kelly has announced a number of internal appointments within her executive team.
Peter Hanlon has been appointed the newly created role if Group Executive, People and Transformation.
Rob Coombe to Group Executive, Westpac Retail and Business Banking, and Brad Cooper to Chief Executive, BT Financial Group.
Ms Kelly says these changes signal the start of the new phase of the Westpac Group’s transformation.
She says the appointments will provide fresh focus and energy to the executive team, saying Peter, Rob and Brad are seasoned executives who bring deep experience to their new roles.
The appointments will take effect from February 1 2010.
