Tabcorp Holdings Ltd (ASX:TAH) MD of wagering resigns

Gaming company Tabcorp Holdings Ltd (ASX:TAH) has announced the resignation of Managing Director of Wagering Robert Nason.

Mr Nason will leave on December 31 after three years leading the company’s wagering division to take up a senior executive position with Telstra.

CEO Elmer Funke Kupper will take over day to day responsibility for the wagering division until a new Managing Director is appointed.

Mr Funke Kupper thanked Mr Nason for leading the wagering business through the difficult days of equine influenza, improving operational performance and reliability and positioning the business well to succeed in a rapidly changing market place.

A recruitment process is underway and will involve a global search.

Tabcorp pulled itself out of the red in 2009 to post a profit of $521.7 million.
