Australia’s largest listed health information technology company iSOFT Group Ltd
(ASX:ISF) has announced contracts totaling around $5.4 million for new hospital information systems at two NHS trusts in England.
The contracts add to the company’s announcement just yesterday that it had won new business totaling $10 million in October.
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has agreed to a six year contract worth $3.7 million and NHS Wandsworth has signed a three year $1.7 million deal.
Managing Director of iSOFT’s UK and Ireland business Adrian Stevens says these contracts show the company’s commitment to its customers and to delivering solutions relevant to modern healthcare settings.
Mr Stevens says the new hospital solutions provide new levels of resilience and performance, but also give customers a platform to build applications that are highly valued.
iSOFT Group’s 2009 net profit of $35.08 million was its best in five years.
