Provider of supply chain and information management solutions Brambles Ltd
(ASX:BXB) has appointed Greg Hayes as Chief Financial Officer as of November 16.
Mr Hayes will replace the company’s current CFO Liz Doherty who has decided to return to the UK for family reasons.
Most recently Mr Hayes spent three years as CEO of privately-owned diversified contractor Tenix Group, and before then he spent four years as CFO of the Australian Gas Light Company acting as interim CEO during that company’s demerger process in 2006.
CEO Tom Gorman says Mr Hayes is a key appointment to Brambles executive Leadership team as the company moves into its next growth phase, implement the recently announced outcomes of the CHEP USA review and accelerate its financial performance as economies recover.
Mr Hayes will join Brambles board on December 1 2009 and will be based in Sydney, Australia.
Brambles profits have been decreasing over the last three years.
