MAp Airports Ltd (ASX:MAP) announces management re-shuffle

Airport owner MAp Airports Ltd (ASX:MAP), formerly Macquarie Airports, has announced a re-shuffle of its management team after completing the internalisation of its management.

Shareholders voted in favour to internalise the company’s management at a meeting on September 30.

MAp is to pay Macquarie Group $345 million in exchange for its management rights with the funds to be raised via a rights issue.

The company has appointed John Roberts as a director of the company after he resigned as an alternate director to Max Moore-Wilton on Map Airports International Ltd.

Christine Williams and Dennis Leong have both resigned as company secretaries of MAp Airports with Sally Webb to become the sole company secretary.

MAp stapled securities have all adopted new constitutions.

MAp Airports 2008 net profit came to $2.07 billion its best in five years.
