Monadelphous secures new contracts worth $200M

Engineering company, Monadelphous Group Ltd (ASX:MND), says it has recently secured additional work across a broad range of industries. This includes two major awards in the water infrastructure market. The company says the combined value of this work is $200 million.

Monadelphous has also recently been awarded a number of contracts in the resources and energy sector. The company will be providing structural, mechanical and piping services to Newcrest’s gold processing plant at Cadia Valley, NSW.

In addition, the company will supply and fabricate wellhead skids for Santos as part of its coal seam gas development in Northern Queensland.

Monadelphous says the value of its new contracts since June is worth around $400 million.

Monadelphous posted a net profit of $66.9 million at 30 June 2016.
