Eden Energy secures ARC funding with Deakin University

Eden Energy Limited (ASX:EDE) has announced it has secured government funding for a collaborative research project with Deakin University into ultra-high strength carbon nanotube enriched concrete.
 
The Australian Reseach Council (ARC) grant will provide a total of $300,000 over the life of the 3 year project.
 
The goal of the project is to ascertain if its carbon nanotube enriched concrete, EdenCrete™ is a viable replacement for steel reinforced concrete. 
 
If the research project succeeds, Eden has indicated it would have significant positive environmental and financial implications for the global construction industry.
 
Eden Energy Limited reported a net loss of $1.43 million at 31 December 2015.
