Lucapa reaches sales of 10,000 carats

Lucapa Diamond Company Limited (ASX:LOM) says they have now sold over 10,000 carats worth of diamonds from its Lulo Diamond Project in Angola, Africa. 
 
An eighth parcel of 818 carats of diamonds brought in $920,000 with an average selling price of $1,123 per carat. 
 
The project has also given up numerous large and rare specials with the latest being a 66 carat D colour special.
 
Since starting operations in January 2015 Lucapa has realised gross sale proceeds of $18.8 million with average selling prices of $1,846 per carat. 
 
Lucapa reported a net loss of $2.26 million for the 2015 financial year.
