Sedgman Limited
(ASX:SDM) says its joint venture with Civmec has won a $145 million contract with BHP Billiton.
The deal with the iron ore arm of BHP is to provide civil, structural, electrical and commissioning works at the Jimblebar iron ore mine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The 50/50 joint venture targets large mineral processing and materials handling projects in WA and the contract follows a competitive tender process.
Sedgman reported a net profit of $16.53 million in the 2015 financial year.
