(ASX:ADO) has filed a new patent and launched a third subsidiary company in the energy sector.
The biotech company says its nanometer thin coating technologies have a lot of potential in the energy sector with their diversification strategy now expanding to battery technologies.
CEO Geoff Cumming says the research will be led by highly regarded scientific expert Dr Quansheng Song.
The company has filed a patent covering inventions made in the sector and says care has been taken to create a discreet entity that adds value while not compromising core business.
Anteo reported a net loss of $2.3 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
