Windlab Limited (ASX:WND) announced today that it has executed a share sale agreement for the sale of the Greenwich Wind Park (Greenwich) to Swift Current Energy (Swift Current). Greenwich is a proposed 60MW, permitted project in Ohio, USA. Consistent with its business plan, Windlab seeks to exit projects in the US market which are at or near financial close as the production tax equity financing structures used in that market do not provide attractive cash distributions to sponsor equity during the initial ten years of project operation.
