Horizon Oil advises that the WZ 12-8W-A6P1 appraisal well, Beibu Gulf, People’s Republic of China, spudded at 21:00 hrs local time on 14 November 2015. The well is located in the Weizhou 12-8 Fields Area 1.5 km east of the WZ 12-10-2 discovery well, which was drilled in 2014 and found oil in the T42 sandstone.
