Elk Petroleum Limited listed on the ASX on 15th June 2005

Elk initially acquired substantial working interests in mature oil fields in Wyoming, increased oil production via workovers and re-completions, and acquired offsetting high potential exploration and appraisal acreage in both Wyoming and Montana.

As at March 2010, Elk has 100% working interest in 3 fields and substantial working interests in 3 exploration/appraisal areas, oil production of around 150 barrels per day (BOPD), a major chemical flood EOR re-development plan in place for the Grieve Field, as well as other re-development and development opportunities at the Ash Creek oil field and the Hereford gas discovery respectively.
