The Afterpay Touch Group gives interim report to AUSTRAC

The Afterpay Touch Group (ASX:APT) has updated the market in relation to their Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act matters.

The confidential interim report of external auditor Neil Jeans has now been provided to AUSTRAC without any recommendations, this will be left to the final report.

Mr Jeans has advised that work is now underway to complete the assessment of, and test implementation and compliance with, the various AML/CTF Programs in place during and after the notice period.

As previously stated, Afterpay has not identified any money laundering or terrorism financing activity via our systems to date.

Shares in the Afterpay Touch Group (ASX:APT) are trading 12.6 per cent higher at $35.78.
