Bumper crop for Select Harvests

Select Harvests’ Limited (ASX:SHV) almond crop has been harvested, with volume and quality improving significantly on year.
 
The grower says 65 per cent of the crop has been processed and committed to sales in domestic and export markets.
 
Select says growing and harvest conditions were favourable and the company has reviewed its orchard management practices.

Almond volume has more than doubled to 11,000 metric tonnes, with a significant uplift in volume and price estimates.

Managing Director Paul Thompson says crop yields have returned to normal levels.
 
Select Harvests posted a net loss of $19.5 million in the first half of the current financial year.
