Primary Health Care’s NPAT dives to a loss of $519.9m

Primary Health Care (ASX:PRY) has reported a loss of $516.9 million, after tax from continuing operations in 2017 financial year.

The diagnostic imaging centre saw its 2016 profit after tax, dive to a loss in 2017 amid declining earnings from Bulk Billing Medical Centres. The results swung from a $38.2 million profit in FY16.

Meantime, over the same period, its revenue rose by 1 per cent to $1.7 billion.

The company reported a total 2017 dividend of 10.6 cents per share (CPS), not as high as FY16’s 12 cps.

Shares in Primary Health Care (ASX:PRY) are trading 2.83 lower per cent to $3.43.
