Black Cat Syndicate Limited (ASX: BC8) announced on 10 September 2026 the successful results from recent extensional and infill drilling at its Trojan deposit, a key part of the company’s Kal East Gold Operation in Western Australia. Black Cat Syndicate Limited is an Australian gold exploration and development company. Its primary focus is on advancing its Kal East Gold Operation. The 56-hole drill program aimed to expand the known mineralised footprint and was met with positive outcomes, intersecting gold mineralisation beyond the current resource boundaries.

The comprehensive drilling program at the 100% owned Trojan Deposit, which currently holds a 202koz @ 1.1g/t Au Resource (33% Indicated), focused on two main objectives. Firstly, it tested for down-dip extensions to the steeply-dipping lodes in the northern section of the resource. Secondly, the program sought to infill and extend the flat-lying oxide mineralised system located in the southeastern part of the deposit. Both aims were successfully achieved, with significant assay results including 13m @ 1.79g/t Au from 237m and 6m @ 2.58g/t Au from 251m in the northern extensions, and 11m @ 1.13g/t Au from 33m and 6m @ 1.13g/t Au from 47m in the southeastern extensions.

These encouraging results underscore the growth potential at Trojan. Black Cat Syndicate Limited plans further extensional drilling, particularly targeting the shallow, flat-lying oxide mineralisation in the southeastern area, which is envisioned for initial mining development. Additionally, infill drilling is scheduled to upgrade the Inferred Resource to Indicated, a crucial step to support updated Life of Mine planning. Managing Director Chris Stone commented that the extensional drilling has highlighted Trojan’s growth potential, adding that the planned infill and extensional drilling targeting the shallow southeastern lodes is significant for envisioned initial mining development.
