Holista CollTech Ltd
(ASX:HCT) has entered a joint venture partnership with a company headed by American celebrity chef, Nadja Piatka.
The biotech company and Nadja Foods LLC will promote a low-GI reducer for white bread and baked products in North America.
Holista says it has developed a formula which, when added to white flour, dramatically reduces blood sugar levels without changing the taste or texture of the final product.
The company says that the baked goods market in North America is estimated to be wroth $US37 billion and is growing at 2% each year.
Hollista Colltech reported a net profit of $64,000 at 31 December 2015.
