Company News

Seafarms Group Limited (ASX:SFG) subsidiary CO2 Australia Limited has secured new contracts with the Commonwealth government under the Commonwealth’s 20 Million Trees Programme.

These newly contracted projects, located in Queensland, focus on establishing vegetation habitat for the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater and re-establishment of threatened rainforest vegetation communities.

On-ground delivery will occur progressively from 2016 to 2018 and involve a diverse range of stakeholders, including National Parks agencies, land-care organisations and local landholders.

Seafarms Group said the securing of this series of contracts adds further support to CO2 Australia’s strategy of continued expansion of its service offerings into the environment, consulting and land management services areas.

Seafarms Group recorded a net profit of $15.96 million at 31 December 2015.
