Speaking about the gaming industry Mr Carr says, "Our company doesn't provide gambling itself, but we manage the systems behind that. For clubs and pubs and casinos. We are the leading gaming business in Australia."
"If you divide our total revenue by the number of machines we manage, that works out to about $700 a machine. Our competitors average about $500 to $550 per machine."
"Two main segments to our business, gaming systems, this is where we have our main product set. Operations is our recurring business. We provide monitoring systems for the government in Queensland. We're one of two vendors there. We're looking forward to a tender coming up in NSW in the next few months."
"Overall we have 67,000 machines. We trying to add things onto that recurring network so that we drive our recurring revenue and therefore predictability of our profitability going forward."
