MEDIVAC COMPLETES FIRST NEW METAMIZER 240 SSS
Healthcare solutions company MediVac Limited [ASX: MDV] today announced that it has completed production of its first new MetaMizer 240 SSS clinical waste converter.
The MetaMizer simultaneously sterilises and shreds clinical waste on site. It provides hospitals, quarantine facilities, medical research facilities, and other health-care facilities with a proven and environmentally friendly way of dealing with clinical waste. Importantly, the MetaMizer eliminates the safety and environmental problems caused by the transport and incineration of hospital waste.
Currently the vast majority of hospital waste is transported and incinerated off-site.
