Current projects include:

Forrestania Nickel
HNR has a large strategic holding along the basal/ultamafic contact immediately to the north of Western Area's Flying Fox nickel mine.
 
Jigalong Manganese
Significant manganese potential has been identified at Jigalong with first pass sampling returning grades as high as 37% Mn. Metalurgical studies are currently in progress to assess the potential to generate a saleable product from the surface manganese. Potential exists to identify a sub-surface source of manganese with low impurities.

Queen Victoria Rocks
The project is currently being explored for nickel sulphides.

Lake Johnston
Anomalous gold and copper-molybdenum-gold is being explored with lake sampling and RC drill testing. This project is shaping up to become Hannans major exploration focus in the years ahead due to its substantial prospectivity.

Forrestania Gold
The project hosts a non-JORC gold resource at North Ironcap. HNR aims to increase this resource through ongoing exploration. In JV with Cullen Resources - HNR 80% : CUL 20%.

Jigalong Iron
Hannans recently divested 100% of its iron rights to Warwick Resources Ltd who are aiming to become the major iron explorer/miner in the East Pilbara,

Project Overview

Projects are strategically located within the southern Yilgarn and SE Pilbara regions of WA
- Forrestania Project, target commodities include nickel, gold and iron (hematite)
- Lake Johnston Project, target commodities include nickel and gold
- Queen Victoria Rocks Project, target commodities include nickel and gold
- East Pilbara Project, target commodities include manganese, base metals and gold.


EXPLORATION

Hannans tenement portfolio has increased by 726 sq km’s (~20%)
New exploration geologist Tom Lyons employed in Mar 2011
Physical exploration on all projects for the 2011 calendar year included:

- 9,311 geochemical samples
- 11.15 line km’s of moving loop TEM
- 46.1 line km’s of Fixed Loop TEM
- 5,974 gravity readings
- 23 aircore holes for 793 metres
- 252 RC percussion holes for 17,576 metres
- 16 diamond holes for 408 metres
- plus many hours of data collation, validation, mapping and interpretation
