The GPT Group (GPT) today announced the appointment of Mr Lim Swe Guan as a Non- Executive Director. Mr Lim’s appointment will take effect from 23 March and he will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Securityholders to be held on 5 May 2015.
Mr Lim was identified for the position following an extensive search conducted on behalf of GPT’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The search and selection process was conducted in preparation for Mr Eric Goodwin’s retirement at the 2015 AGM.
Mr Lim has spent most of his executive career as a Managing Director in the Government Investment Corporation of Singapore (GIC). In that role he was Regional Head of Property Investment for Australia, Japan and South East Asia and the Global Head of the Corporate Investment Group. Mr Lim was previously a Portfolio Manager at Suncorp Investments and securities analyst for Kim Eng Securities and Alfa-Pacific Securities.
