Proposed Port Facility
Excess capacity identified in the planned causeway, jetty and transhipment shuttle vessel infrastructure of the proposed Port Facility culminated in the signing of the Alliance Agreement with Flinders Mines for the haulage and shipping of its PIOP ore via the planned BBI Project.
Railway to the Central Pilbara
An approximately 160km railway from the proposed Port Facility to a train-loading site in the central Pilbara region, similar to other railways that have been built and are currently operating today.
Flinders’ PIOP Mine
Flinders, as the foundation customer, has committed to a minimum of 20Mtpa with the ability to export up to 30Mtpa should that amount of PIOP product be made available.
