- Manganese discovered during precious/base metal exploration
- High grades - up to 56.8% Mn with DSO potential
- Shallow depth - between surface and 33 metres
- Drill intersections up to 33 metres thick
- Mineralisation remains open - will be subject to systematic exploration and drilling
- Potential to enhance overall project economics
- Extensive exploration and development activities continue at Romang Island.
Robust Resource Limited ('Robust' or 'the Company') is pleased to announce that many drill-holes have intersected high-grade zones of manganese (Mn) mineralisation at the company's 77.5%-owned Lakuwahi Project on Romang Island. A total of 38 intersections of manganese varying in downhole thickness from 1 metre to 33 metres were encountered during the current exploration programme.
Given these very encouraging intersections, the company is fast-tracking an expanded exploration programme to specifically explore for additional manganese mineralisation. Metallurgical test work is also underway.
