Golden Gate Petroleum Limited (ASX:GGP) (“Golden Gate” or the “Company”) provides the following production and drilling update from the Company’s Projects for the two-week period, 16th to 30th April, 2013.
Drilling and Completion Update
(1) Permian Project, Texas (GGP: Operator and 100% WI)
- SRH #1 Well: On production. Restarted production from Wolfcamp formation on 21 April 2013.
- SRH #2 Well: Well workover completed. Currently, the well is cleaning up and unloading fluid, and will restart hydrocarbon production soon.
- SRH #3 Well: On production. Was shut in 5 days during the period to repair the well heater.
- SRH #4 Well: On production.
- SRH #5 Horizontal Well: Hydraulic fracture stimulation in the “A” bench of the Wolfcamp interval has been successfully completed. A pumping unit has been installed and the well is unloading frac fluid and has had initial oil break through.
(2) Bowtie West Project, Project (Matagorda County)
- Sugar Valley #1 Well (GGP: 12% WI; Non-Operator): On production.
(3) Napoleonville Project, Louisiana (Assumption Parish)
- Napoleonville Hensarling #1 Well (GGP: 3.99% WI; Non-Operator): Unit rule issues have been resolved. The Operator is preparing to test the discovery interval in May.
