Golden Gate Petroleum Limited (ASX:GGP) (“Golden Gate” or the “Company”) wishes to announce that following a review of the board composition and skills required to advance the development of its projects, the Company has appointed to the board two Independent Non-Executive Directors, Mr. Chris Porter and Mr. Rob Oliver. These appointments were made following consideration of several other candidates.
Shareholders will have the opportunity to consider these appointments for re-election as Directors at an Extraordinary General Meeting which will follow immediately after the requisitioned Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 19 December 2012 in Sydney. There will now be two Extraordinary General Meetings held on the same day.
