Golden Gate Petroleum Ltd (ASX:GGP) is pleased to provide an operational update on the first horizontal well, SRH 5H, in the Permian Project located in Reagan County, Texas. As of today, the Western Drilling # 6 is expected to starting moving into the location and rigging up on Tuesday 30 October with a spud date of Thursday 1 November, US central time. All rig-up operations are subject to weather conditions especially high winds which are common in the Permian Basin.
