KEY POINTS
Copper assay results have been received from drill hole S36-035 showing significant drilled thickness intervals of copper mineralisation.
Drill hole S36-035 was drilled at an angle of 70 degrees towards the south, from the same drill pad as other vertical holes S36-033 and S36- 038.
Mineralisation in S36-035 above cut-off grade begins at 51.7m depth with best drilled thickness intersections including:
S36-035 (Inclined -70º towards the South; EOH = 500.2m)
- 72m at 1.7% Cu between 190m and 262m, including
- 33m at 2.43% Cu between 212m and 245m, and
- 4m at 4.4% Cu between 258m and 262m.
- 122m at 1.51% Cu between 317m and 439 meters.
Gold assay results have been received from drill hole S36-032.
Best drilled thickness intersections include:
S36-032 (Vertical hole; EOH = 500.5m)
- 2m at 0.29g/t Au between 100m and 102m,
- 2m at 0.29g/t Au between 106m and 108m,
- 5m at 0.45g/t Au between 180m and 185 meters.
Blackthorn Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) (“the Company” or “Blackthorn Resources”) is pleased to advise that further assay results have been received from the Phase 5 drilling program at Mumbwa, Zambia. Copper assay results were received from drill hole S36-035 and gold assay results from drill hole S36-032.
