WorleyParsons Limited (ASX:WOR) has inked a deal with the LNG Canada Development company to provide engineering design and project execution services.
The joint venture, in Kitimat in British Columbia, is a proposed liquefied natural gas project that aims to reach a production capacity of six million tonnes per annum.
The project execution phase is subject to regulatory approval, and a financial investment decisions by LNG Canada, which could take a number of years.
WorleyParsons booked a net profit of $120 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
