WorleyParsons wins $130M Canadian contract

WorleyParsons Limited (ASX:WOR) has won a contract worth about $130 million to provide engineering and procurement services in Canada.
 
Work undertaken will be on Phase 1 of the North West Redwater Partnership’s greenfield bitumen refinery project. 

WorleyParsons will start work immediately and Phase 1 commercial operations are targeted for September 2017. 

CEO Andrew Wood says the project will be the first Greenfield refinery built in Canada since 1984. 

Worleyparsons reported a net profit of almost $120 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
