Australia and New Zealand Banking Group
(ASX:ANZ) has announced David Gonski will replace John Morschel as chairman of the bank in 2014.
Mr Gonski will step down from his role as chair of the Future Fund to take on the new position.
In an announcement ahead of the bank’s annual general meeting, Mr Morschel said Mr Gonski would join the ANZ board in February.
Mr Gonski is currently chairman of Coca-Cola Amatil Limited
(ASX:CCL).
ANZ delivered a net profit of $6.3 billion in fiscal 2013.
