Qantas Airways Limited
(ASX:QAN) passenger numbers increased by 1.9 per cent in July on the same period last year.
During the month, there was a revenue seat factor of 79.8 per cent, slightly lower than the previous corresponding period.
Group domestic yield, including Qantas Domestic, QantasLink and Jetstar, was flat.
Qantas International yields were lower than the previous corresponding period due to continued market capacity growth and the competition response to its Emirates partnership.
Qantas generated a net profit of $6 million in fiscal 2013.
