Boart names interim CFO

Boart Longyear Limited (ASX:BLY) has named Jay Clement, vice president of Treasury and Investor relations, as its acting CFO. 
 
Mr Clement will assume the role when current CFO Joseph Ragan departs on May 18 to commence a tenure with a US listed company. 
 
The mining services company says Mr Clement will retain his current responsibilities for treasury and capital markets communications in addition to his new responsibilities.
 
Mr Clement has more than 20 years experience in finance and treasury, including roles in commercial banking. 
 
He has been employed by Boart Longyear for seven years. 
 
Boart Longyear generated a net profit of $65.6 million in its 2012 financial year.
